still running my Blue Snowflake over here, managed to find an equalizer program which boosts the mic volume and adds in amplification. The quiet USB microphone issue is windows specific.
Microsoft broke the USB audio drivers on windows 10 and 8 for some reason.
they are completely unwilling to fix the issue, it causes a quiet microphone, this all works well with windows 7 or vista.
The microphones which come with their own drivers do not have this problem.
I may get a shotgun microphone but for now the one I have does the job.
