help with my Wifi speed and channel choice please.

What channel should I set my 5GHZ and 2GHZ WiFi networks to.
I know that a Wifi analyzer app could easily tell me this but I downloaded one and the buttons were unlabeled.
Could you tell me of an accessible WiFi app that I can use for my PC
