You're welcome, not a problem, just mentioned in case you ever want to try it again and lose the link. As for how stable it is, Chrome has 4 release channels: Stable, which is what the majority is using. Beta, which is second to stable, thus most major bugs are already fixed and features go into beta essentially when the team thinks the release is ready. Dev, less stable than the beta, and finally Canary, very early alpha. So you should be mostly fine running a beta release.
