If that's really what happened, than IMO he really has only himself to blame. So he used coffee mud as his core, that in itself isn't necessarily a bad thing, but judging from previous posts in this topic, he really had no idea what he was doing and didn't actually add anything original, similarly to how people cloning cosmos did much the same thing. I think that with the acception of a few muds, prometheus for instance, most devs using these already available cores don't really have any intention of developing a game, they just want the fame and the status that being an audiogame developer gives them.
