If you've upgraded to ios 13 from 12, then adventure to fate battle arena is very playable. I'm not sure what changed to fix the issues, but popup windows now behave like they're supposed to, and even though the movement grid is still over the combat view, it's not a problem at all once you get used to the layout. I'm working through the game again as we speak.
