Game suggestion from a non programmer.
Hello. First of all, I'm not sure if this is in the right forum, however, it seems to fit in best here. Secondly, as the title suggests, I have an idea for a game, and no knowledge of how to see it come to fruition. I am not a programmer, and therefore do not know how complex this may be to build, but here's my idea. While browsing facebook earlier, I was seeing post after post from Farmville. I griped around for a while that nothing else was showing up, and then finally realized my problem. I was jealous. I have played Farmville with the help of my sighted parents in the past, and so I know the general basis of the game. Plant virtual crops that you can later sell for money, buildings, animals, equipment, etc. Your end result is a virtual farm. My suggestion is this. As stated above, I do not have any experience with programming, and so I do not know if this is even possible, but I would love to see a blind friendly version of something like farmville. It could be multi player with an online platform, or single player offline with other ways to come about materials and such that you would need to do various activities. As with farmville, you could plant virtual crops, raise animals, build structures, and several other things that go along with the farm game. I'm leaving this one up to whom ever may wish to take on the task, however, I can offer help in the area of text descriptions if they are needed. I am also willing to be a beta tester.
