I never said that performers or pros have a frustration with theory, but they do not exploit it to its full potential, too often. And one thing is to know theory inside out and get a+ on every exam, which is never a bad thing, but the debate here is centered on another thing, which is to have the abilities to be able to transmit things precisely and concisely... you sadly really do not see much of that in the teaching world.
