hello, there is also a way to read it with your browser but sometimes it would give you quite a few html or xhtml files. like 1 for the contents 1 for prolog and epilog if it's a novel, and one for each chapter. plus 1 or 2 extra.
anyways, the way is this.
open, or extract the epub file with you're zip compressor, preferably 7zip.
open the file, there will be some files and folders in it. what you want to find is OEBPS.
in it there is a text folder. the book text is in there.
