Re: AirPods Pro problem. Has anyone experienced this?
hello their, I am going to take the time to describe my experience with apples airpods in detail. so that if any 1 is wondering if they are any good. I can only provide a opinionated peace. to describe my truly beautiful experience I had with them.
the first jen airpods. I got in I believe it was 2017.
in the type of job I do. they are super nice to use because, I use them in 1 ear. at a time. pared up to a windows computer.
I use bluetooth add on from NVDA to keep the connecction alive so that no clipping/drop out of audio happens.
the battery lasted for the rated five hours.
at times I had to also go out of the office. so, the airpods then did duty on the Iphone I had.
again they did not let me down.
sadly and obviously, due to the heavy usage I had put them through.
after just 1 year, the battereys began to drop to 3 hours lasting time.
because I was also using them at home.
so in 2018 I was fortunate enough to buy a second pare. that was only used for work. so the first pare got used just for home.
the second pare was still the first jen.
I was lucky enough for me to be gifted that pare.
The exact same beautiful experience.
no battery loss.
however, I did encounter the issue many users on the internet described. when the iphone bluetooth is on. and airpods are in charging case, the battery life did degrade.
updating the firmware of the airpods did solve the issue.
I how ever did decide, to avoid this issue all together, by switching off the bluetooth in my Iphone when not in use.
to maximise the full potensial of the case.
so when 2019, came around 1 year later. My work bought me the next pare of airpods. this time the second jen that apple had bought out.
the pare I bought in 2018 now whent to my home. the very first pare who stil had the 3 hour battery life. was now completely shot, and only lasted 30 minutes per ear on 1 charge. it also charged way way quicker. but when on a call or playing music it did not even played the battery low tone. when it reached 10 percent.
when it did reach 10 percent, and played that tone, you would no you still had a few minutes, to do what you need to do to charge it up.
so that pare got placed aside, the second pair from 2018 now came to my house for me to use. only at the house. and the new pare in 2019 wich was the second jen was now used at work.
the exact same experience.
beautiful battery life. clear sound. was observed.
fast forward to now. 2020. I found a good deal on another pare of second jen airpods.
those who are keeping count will know that it is the forth pare.
this time, I took the forth pare and put them to use only at home. the home pare wich still is lasting for well over 4 and a half hours. will be used at work.
so its safe to say that. with the usage I am putting them through. the home pare will be fine for the next 2 years. and the work pare will be due for replacement by next years end. using 1 airpod per ear means I am not putting such strane on them.
since 1 ear lasts me five hours, and the next ear takes over after that.
so this is what and what will happen if you do put them under heavy use.
so to rap things up.
if you like the 1 ear game and use your airpods every day. all the day, then you will only cause them to last for 1 year. at first they'll last for five hours, then drop to 4 then 3, then just start to die after half hour with no warning tone to warn you.
this is not usually how people uses them but this post is wrote to show you what will happen when u do need to use them alot. my advice would be to keep 1 for home and 1 for work. then you all sorted
