i am not sure exactly, but i think you should send some workers to the hungry village using the east road, then just like you did to find the ring, (i assume you found it) send some more workers to the east road before the previous ones come back. i think you will find the goat on the east road.
again, i am not sure. if you can't find it, try doing the same thing with the west road. and if you also can't find it, then i really don't know
