Congratulations. Yes, money does make the world go round, or in this case solve a lot of problems. It also makes other clans jealous of you, however. Still, well done.
I can say that doing hero quests in consecutive years is a bad idea long term. You might be able to get away with it, but it's also likely you'll simply be unable to enter the god realm, or killed while there. The gods don't like being pestered by mortals all that often.
It's sometimes worth letting relationships drift into feuds now and again. You'll find that if you ally with too many clans people begin to wonder about your sincerity. Also, just because you're allied with a clan doesn't mean they're always going to treat you well—it's possible to be in a nominal alliance with a clan who secretly don't like you at all.
Good luck, whenever you decide to try the long game. If you want my advice, wait a bit, to avoid burnout. The game is hard to put down, but if you do so you'll find it more rewarding on return.
