If I had to guess, I would say that Blizzard will use any data and feedback collected to see what the demand for any future accessibility could entail. We really battled with discord for a very long time, and never got an accessibility road map, but I think what turned it around was enough people going to them and sayign they wanted change.
The fact Blizzard has any sort of accessibility department at all is a really good sign. I'm very optomistic for future developments. I also realize though that this is going to take a good long while. here's hoping more resources go in to accessibility.
