It’s not the puck’s speed so much as its random seizures. Right now, there’s almost no influence on the puck besides you hitting it back. The game doesn’t take in the offset in regards to where you hit it from, so making diagonal shots, or even the ones that bounce back-and-forth, is literally impossible. The table is tiny, and can be essentially covered by you staying in the center and moving left and right every now and then. The fact that you can spam up and space with impunity should also bare mentioning, as it boils down the game to who is more persistent rather than who is more adept at manipulating the puck. This feels like a really terrible rip off of dragon pong, which if you wish to remake, I encourage you to do so. It really needs a central server. Another option would be doing some research, I’m sure someone somewhere figured out the exact math behind how AirHockey works. Either way, as of now, the game has very little going for it.
