First of all. Choose your formation. Personally, I like 4 3 3. Then, you should be able to click on the different positions and place players on them. The annoying part is you can't tell if you already have placed a player on a position so sometimes you will accidentily swap a player without meaning to. If you can't figure it out then please do ask again. I am happy to help. A little hard to explain is all.
