Re: discord help
roles are automatically calculated. The more permissioons the role allows, the higher it is. I recommend only having 1 or 2 roles on your server when starting, as if you have 10 roles you may give a user higher status than you intend because the different roles overlap with each other and intertwine their values. There is 1 music bot that actually has an interface you can use, but 99% of bot commands will be done with the bot prefix. You can use context menus on anything to brin up several actions. Context on the server will give you access to the server settings. Context on a channel will give you channel settings. Same for category and users. If in a voice channel, the user will context menu will have more items such as server mute, disconnect, and move. If you would like to manage roles, for each channel or category you create an object by clicking on permissions above the first heading, and open the drop down for show roles/members. Select the role and set the permissions. Hit save then close. You can change individual member permissions for each channel or category. Roles just make it for a specific group of people all at once. To double clarify, you edit roles and member through each channel and category, there isn't a specific place to edit them. Oh, and do everything on the computer, it is so much easier.
