I don't know where you are getting your facts from, but the devoute Catholics I know definitely don't put Mary on the level of Christ or believe that Jesus took her up to heaven. That is only in certain representations of Catholicism around the world... such as in the Philipenes and in certain Latin American countries.
As to the Mormon church... in my personal opinion, they are wrong, but I stress that very much... it is my opinion and nothing more. If they're happy believing what they want, I will not force them to change... I will only share with them the truth that I know is absolute, but whether they choose to accept it is their own choice. The same goes to everyone else who is not of my faith.
You say the Messianic Judaism is religion but a faith... but faith is part of religion. And that was not what I meant when I said you're too concerned about religious practices... lighting Jewish candles, celebrating Jewish traditions... those are expressi
ons of your relationship, and whether someone practices them or not should not define their relationship with Jesus. And when you say the Pentecostals are restoring Christ's church... I don't quite understand what that means. Baptism of the holy spirit is not something only believed by pentecostals... other denominations may not call it that, but many have a belief in it, though pentecostalism has more emphasis on it. We can't judge a denomination based on its expressions of faith... whether that be the Catholic prayers, pentecostals speaking tongues or messianic Jews celebrating Jewish ceremonies and traditions.
As for the things Jesus tauught... does it matter whether they are new things or not? We should still be trying to live that way... but for your answer, they are not... they are simply Jesus reaffirming what the original ten commandments all together tell us already.
And Simba... don't mean to criticize, but there were probably better ways you
could've expressed your desire for Kamochek to make one topic and one topic alone... just sayin'.
