Re: Hades - roguelike dungeon crawler
The game works like this: You try to climb the greek underworld up to escape from it. You start very, very weak and the game expects you'll make it about five to ten rooms up until you die. Every time you die, you get resurrected in the house of Hades, where you can interact with various npc's and change your equipment. During your attempts to flee the underworld, you get currency. You keep this currency after your death and you can put it into your stats like health and so on, or you can buy special features like special abilities or the ability to come back from death one time without resetting your progress. In this way, you get stronger and stronger, which enables you to climb higher and higher until you are strong enough to make it all the way up. The rooms you have to pass during your escape attempts are randomized, so it doesn't get boring.
