Question Regarding Linux

Hi Folks,

I was wondering if anyone here could help me out as far as Linux is concerned. We're coming to a period of the IT training that I am working through, and we're going to be working with Linux using it as a virtual machine. I was just wondering if you know of a stable Linux virtual machine that would also be accessible. I've heard of Vinux, but was not sure if that is available as a virtual machine or not. If anyone has an ideas or suggestions I would really appreciate the help. We're going to be playing with this quite a lot over the next several weeks, and I am hoping to be able to work with this as well.
Thanks.
