QCF literally means, quarter circle forward. So, the correct input for this, if you are standing on the left side, P1 side is, down, down right, right.
If you think about how your arrows are positioned, they make a circle. a QCF motion is a quarter of a circle.
You can press down right to get your motion in, if you press down, and then while holding down still, press right. If you just press down, let go, then press right, that's not a QCF, because you skipped the between down and right part.
