Yes, still playing, and right now the halloween event is going on so you can get special pets, though I haven't been so lucky because all the eggs are simply labeled "egg" to a screenreader while sighted people can see that most of them look slightly different and can guess which ones are halloween pets by the look of the eggs.
the stream is on their homepage and you take eggs from there, though there are also shops and you can breed as well to get different results. and several pets can only be obtained that way.
The stream is not like a livestream or anything, just a line of eggs on the homepage.
