Ravn X: Autonomous Orbital Launch Drone

As reported by [arstechnica]:

Launching rockets from planes has been an idea thats been floated before, such as with Scaled Composites [SpaceShipTwo] and White Knight aircraft, Northrop Grumman's Pegasus booster, or Virgin Orbit's LauncherOne vehicle. Now however we have a stealthy new entrant, Aevum with their new Ravn X autonomous drone aircraft. With an estimated payload capacity of 25,000kg for small satelites, the big selling point of the drone aircraft is the ability to launch from just about anywhere there's a runway, and through almost any weather conditions to deliver payloads into low earth orbit, something current launch providers have some difficulty doing.

Naturally, this has peaked the interest of military contractors and other parties in terms of its response capabilities, and it would be pretty interesting to see how this drone manages to launch its payloads without the mass or issues that involve physical pilots. You can watch their official launch vehicle video announcement [here].
