Hi everyone,
We have just released TalkBack v3.5.2 Beta 1 to the Play Store.
Going forward, we will begin releasing betas directly through the Google Play Store, and there are a few steps required to ensure you receive beta updates.  Once you complete these steps, you will automatically receive future updates as additional versions are released.
•Start by ensuring your Google account has joined the eyes...@googlegroups.com Google group.  If you're receiving this email at an email address associated with your Google account, you're already a member of this group. If you still need to join on a different account, you can do so by signing in to that Google account and navigating to this link, then selecting the "Join group to post" button and completing the required form.
•While still signed into the desired Google Account, navigate to this opt-in link, review the information, and select "Become a tester".  After selecting the button, ensure the page displays "You are a tester". If you encounter an error message to the effect of "Sorry - nothing to see here.", ensure the account you've signed in to has successfully joined the eyes-free Google group.
•Android devices that are signed in using your Google account will automatically begin receiving updates to TalkBack's beta releases as they become available.
This version of TalkBack is a beta release. Functionality is subject to change. This version may contain bugs. Please provide feedback via the Eyes-Free mailing list or by using the Eyes-Free issue tracker.
If you need to switch back to a stable version, return to the opt-in page and select the "Leave the test" link.  You can then uninstall TalkBack updates using the Play Store application on your Android devices.
