@9 maybe not directly. But some of the posts in this topic, and others in the past, have implied at the very least that there's no distinction between the two.
@10, I completely agree with you, and I'd be the last person to give any government a pass on the kind of things the Chinese government does. The only thing I'd say is that just because someone has managed to get to this forum doesn't mean much. I doubt the government has blocked this particular site... but what said person says still matters. But it's not just censorship.. education defniely has more than a little to do with it. Thugh I think it's worth noting that OP isn't actually from china. lol But as I said originally, this happens to a lot of people and places... I have more than one friend who has a similar obsession over Japan and can ignore anything wrong done by the government partially because it's not as bad as other places, and partially because when you're blinded by love for a culture it's perfectly possibly to do the opposite extreme thing and see only the positives you want to see or find some way to logic your way around the negatives.
