yeah, donations are acceptable, in fact I think this is how most projects like these should gather money, look at nvda, they're still going strong. I know nvda is backed up by some other entities, but my point still stands.
In fact, if this elton would be so great, the admins so reputable, the community so helpful, the admins so understanding, or, just maybe, the documentation so good, I'm sure this discussion won't even need to happen, since they would have got enough money from donations to cover their costs. For example, because nvda is so great and without it I know I won't be able to do what I do everyday, I sometimes donate to it. This is mostly $50/year or so, but the donations are quite irregular, since I don't winn money yet, however I still do it.
So, as seeing AI got donations, so could elton if it was really that good. I guess its userbase is really gonna dwindle a lot in the coming days, well done pals! Destroy it, kill it off the face of the earth, bring an end to it already!
