P3D is short for a flight simulator called Prepar3D. It takes the old Microsoft FSX platform and builds upon it to create a 64 bit simulator. There's a lot to get into, and I'm not the right person to ask as it's been a while since I've done it. Check out the resources at BVI Pilots to get you on the right track.
