Re: Looking for tutor

@10
Learning to Google your questions is itself a skill.

Things like W3c are a terrible way to learn to program.  I would google "free python books" or something along those lines and find something that clicks.  There is a difference between learning how Python works and learning how to program, and W3C only teaches the former.

If you don't know any programming yet, a tutor is a waste of money because there are literally millions of resources out there.  You can get entire CS degrees for free now (obviously not the actual degree, but all the video lectures, etc).

If you can't figure out how to learn the basics on your own, a tutor is a waste of money because as soon as you leave the tutor you're going to be stuck, which means needing to pay someone forever.  Generally speaking tutors can teach you specific, concrete things, but can't teach you how to learn.  Reading this thread, the issue isn't that you don't know programming, it's that you don't know how to learn things without help.  That's the real problem you need to solve.

You're highly unlikely to find a competent tutor through audiogames.net.  Most people here are weak coders who make it to the finish line through perseverance.  In general, you have to be very good at whatever it is you want to teach before you can teach it competently, as well as good at teaching.  You have to be way better than you have to be to do the thing in the first place, because explaining and answering questions means always needing to know the answer, and teaching something in a way that isn't harmful to later growth means having had that later growth yourself.
