As @2 said, Russia is a multinational country, and racism is not very common today. Racially-motivated violent crimes have dropped steadily since the beginning of 2010-s, and the common traveler is unlikely to face any major problems.
In addition, sometimes, especially in smaller cities, people of a different skin color can attract the attention of random pedestrians. They may stare at you more often or try to talk to you, so keep this in mind.
