Re: Announcing the release of Grail to the Thief
1. There are Windows, Mac and Linux demos available for download on IndieDB: http://www.indiedb.com/games/grail-to-t … /downloads. Alternatively, you can play the demo through a web browser if you have the Unity Player browser plug-in enabled: http://www.newgrounds.com/portal/view/646113.
2. On average, a playthrough will take about 45 minutes, though some have completed the game in 30 minutes.
3. The game is worth playing through at least 2-3 times because of the branching dialogue. If you only play through once you won't get to hear all the dialogue and you will miss some of the jokes.
4. Yes, you can technically brute force your way through the game. The game is inspired by old-school text adventures but plays more like a choose-your-own-adventure book. There are items that you will need to progress in the game - if you don't have these items, your character will have to leave the area and find the item before returning to that area.
5. Progress cannot be saved due to limitations with the software used to develop the game, but because of the short length of the game the lack of save feature isn't a huge deal.
