Re: 2d platformer 3.0 now available for download
I'm not complaining here, in fact I have no problem buying games, and $10 is definitely, definitely something I can aford. But let me give my responses to the features:
feature: All features of 2dp that you get when winning the game without actually winning.
response: or... ya could just beat the game??????
feature: More premium ambiences.
response: I usually turn those off anyway. That goes for all the games I play...
feature: cheating.
response: yeah. that's smart. Let's pay so we can have the ability to reduce the fun of the game by cheating at it. That will definitely not give me a since of accomplishment, and significantly decrease my will to play knowing I can just cheat my way through.
feature: Non-premium users cannot edit your maps.
response: I can see why this would be useful, but only for those who don't want people editing their maps, (I presume those people were the target of the feature), and really...
it wouldn't matter unless players of this game shared maps through a server that other people played on.
feature: And more to come!
response: cool. I'll wait till then to check out premium.
I'm not lashing out here. I'm not calling you faulty like I did before. I'm not displaying hard feelings. Just giving you suggestions to consider.
