i've finished all campaigns of re6 on ps3. and, yeah, there are some umplayable parts, but this is not one of them.
you can find the key, only problem is that you need to walk pressing x on that room. a Word of advice. the key is where you can hear the tv. only a few meters back. if you can hear the news, just walk around pressing x and you'll find the key.
