Nothing wrong with catchy lines and action once in a while, but if it's got nothing to back it up with it loses it's chalm pretty fast, heck how popular and well remembered are the big hollywood superhero films like the first few X men ones from even five years ago? Look at how they remade spiderman after the last few spier man films weren't even 10 years old.
If you look at the big action films like Starwars that have really stood the test of time they always had rather more going for them, for all they had the action and so on.
