I'm glad my little walkthrough for Mt. Moon has been at least slightly useful.
Haven't messed around with this game for a bit, but keep up the good work.
Balancing reasons? I actually sort of liked having another rival trainer. I have always believed pokemon was far too easy, personally, but that's me. I've also played it a lot and know what I'm doing, largely, so perhaps I'm a little biased there.
That walkthrough is a lifesaver. The only mistake I can see is that there's a Rare Candy down in the dead-end place on the ground floor where you can find the Escape Rope, not a Potion. But that's literally it.
And I know it's been done in Gen V games, where you have two rivals, one who picks the starter that's got the advantage over yours, and one who picks the one you have an advantage over. Kyle could be inserted into the gam
e again to fit that role. It would make Braillemon just that bit more its own game rather than a remake of Red/Blue.
