And assault, yes, we must do something about your computer, don't know if i tould you before but i'm a system's analist, so, maybe i can help somehow.
Stirlok's idea is great imo, but about your other computer....
1). Where is the lag?. in shadow line?, or Windows is laggy in general?.
2). have you tried to execute the game from an external drive device?.
3). what kind of lag is it?. imput lag?, or all sounds, jaws, nvda, etc are lagging as well?.
