the area command will tell you what area you're in, easy to keep track of if you want to move from an area to the other area. I never use the coordinate system. The only thing I use is my memory, with helps from markings, signs or whatever around the environment.
The dummies is the old feature of the game, but now it's been removed. So the only way to train combat is to be in combat, or real.
