the DeSmuMe forum does this as well. I've had an account there for years and now I can't use it because the login screen -- not just the signup, but the login screen-- has a captcha which makes you drag a slider across the screen. It's not like they work to prevent spam anyway, they just block more legit users than illegitimate ones.
