Yes, older versions of Ccleaner had check boxes, new ones have buttons for some reasen. Start when computer start is also I think in the setup, so you can change that there (corect me if I am wrong). About your problem: so, Ccleaner automaticly cleans cookies every day or it cleans them when you start it? if problem is #1 you can just uncheck cookies (check boxes aren't there at first, but they are there when you press space. if something is unchecked when you press space, that means it was priviusly checked) or, if you don't like it to do this thing automaticly, go to tools, start up, and on first tab (automaticly selected) stop Ccleaner monitoring.
