@Wastelander, we have the inventory system now? that is cool!
The additions might be a pest but are more than well worth it game wise sinse one great thing about Thewastes is it's all about what you find and the more random stuff you sling into the pool of what is findable the more there is going, it's like there is even more random stuff to explore and find each time you play, so hard though the coding is it is very much appreciatedand definitely makes for a much better game with each thing that gets added.

I think a bit of nerfing of the int bonuses would be good. While I do get that it was there to help with the old exponential xp system, it didn't quite manage that much of the time sinse by the time you got to levels of having even vaguely high enough int for the bonuses to kick in your xp costs would be through the roof, plus of course, it didn't help if you just ran across low level monsters sinse when your needing so many  million xp fo r the next level even getting 50 times 100, ie, five thousand isn't going to mean that much.

So, a flat int bonus system would be nice I tthink and then hopefully grind mining aside xp progression should be somewhat logical.

Random viles will be  typically nasty and an even worse gamble, though when books get added to the game, having possibility of finding some scraps of info on what viles might be most harmful will probably be a good idea, eg, "you find an old water stained lab report, most of it is allegeable but you can see a graph labled "incidents of cansa" with a bar picked out in "insert worst vile colour",
or "you find a scrap of paper that seems to have come off one of the shattered glass viles, the scrap reads "Enhancement agent x" and you can see "insert colour of potentially good vile" coloured spots on the faded paper"
