new alternative4facebook chat
yo everyone.
as you know, I'm always searching for alternatives for everything.
in an ispanic blog, I fownd out that thunderbird is the sollution of our troubles with fb.
steps:
1. Install thunderbird and log in with a valid email address.
the address shall be the same that you used to log in with facebook.
2. press alt, then right arrow to tools.
3. Down arrow to account status submenu.
4. Right arrow to expand and press enter on account settings.
5. Select witch chat you wanna connect. In this case, facebook chat.
6. Press enter on OK button.
7. Enter your username. It should be like this:
abby.snyder
if it is not, and it is just numbers, paste them anyways.
to get your fb username, you better go to www.facebook.com, then log in, press enter on your profile, click on info and press f6.
you shall see like http://www.facebook.com/profile_id?170.0.0.1
random.
copy anything after profile_id? then paste it in username.
click OK.
then, enter your password, and click OK.
then, enter your alias. Note this alias will be only valid on thunderbird. No one else would see it.
then, click finish, and you're done.
you shouldbe be connected.
press close, then press control shift i.
select any contact you wanna chat with, then press enter on them, and chat normally. I prefer this one apart from instantbird cause instantbird laggs.
anyway, if you didn't understood it correctly, just made an audio for you demonstrating it.
