Rule changes in developers room?

Hi moderation team,
to the dismay of myself and other members of this forum seeking programming advice, the developers room is becoming somewhat of a war zone. When questions are asked in that room, even simple ones such as how to create a map parser, a specific group of people, (it's usually the same ones), reply to that topic seemingly with the intent to cause turmoil, by bringing up what they view as better languages, which is a sensative topic here. If you would please, add a rule to the forum against this, as it tends to lead to more flame waring, less productivity.
Thanks,
Steve.
