I bought a wireless SB2 because I was not sure if I could get a network
wire to where my squeezebox lives, but I was able to hardwire it. I
seem to recall that the wireless part of the SB2 was a "card". I have
no use for wireless right now, so:

1) Can I easily remove the wireless “card”, and still have a working
SB2?
2) Will it void my warranty?
3) Might it improve the SB2 sonically to not have the wireless hardware
in it?
4) Hopefully the removal of the wireless is reversible, and I can put
it back the way it was if I need wireless in the future.

I have the stock power supply, but I am considering getting a linear
PS. Don’t know if that has any bearing on the wireless aspect, but
thought I would mention that. I currently use the analog outs directly
to my power amp, but might use the digital out to a DAC in the future.
