I was feeding my power amp straight from the SB2. I'm now running through a DAC, which fortunately has a volume control so rather than use the digital volume control I'm feeding the amp straight from the DAC. The DAC (Benchmark) also has a digital source selection (coax/optical/xlr) -- so I'm using that to switch between the SB2 and another source.
