Please note the sharper s/pdif edges may increase EMI output - they're filtered for a reason. If you want them sharper just jump across L5. I wouldn't recommend this because it doesn't reduce jitter, nor would I expect it to improve any DAC's ability to lock onto the signal. It just increases the energy at odd harmonics of fs*64 which isn't a worthy goal unless you're having DAC locking problems. In this case "square enough" to get a clean phase lock at the receiver is ideal.
