At your prompting, I'm listening to that album again right now. I can agree with the great recording and great backups. The guitarist sounds a lot like Wes. And Diana's piano is pretty good. But I just don't hear a great singer. Decent phrasing and emotion, but not a lot of range. The songs do not present much of a singing challenge.
