There is no designed-in maximum number of tracks or albums, so there should be no limit. I'm not sure why your system isn't scanning some music, but it's not a limit or maximum like that.
What operating system are you using? What version of the server? What happens? Do you get a message? does the server crash? Does it play other songs?
