After reading seeral positive reviews of the Behringer A500 I bought a pair from Parts Express. They went right back. There was audible distortion in the high-freq range on both units. I tried a variety of configurations and equipment combos, but in the end I concluded that both units had the same problem.
For a cheap little power amp, I would consider the Audio Source Amp One. 80Wx2 for less than $200.
