The Behringer DEQ2496 is pretty inexpensive. And it can do all the processing in the digital domain, in 1/3rd octave gradations. Why do I even need to involve my computer at this point? Anybody who's looking for an inexpensive, convenient solution should really check this out first. I stick my Behringer between the digital outs of the Squeezebox and the digital inputs of a Benchmark DAC1. It's all digital, and it sounds awesome. -- Mike Anderson 'FREE RADICAL RADIO!'
