Well if it's lossless, by definition the end resulting bitrate won't
matter.

You can see it vary, depending on the track, anywhere from 500kbps to
1440kbps, but that all depends on how compressible the audio is.  (Just
like if you use zip to compress a text document or something -really-
repetitive like a log file, you can get some impressive compression
rates... if you use it to compress audio files it will usually suck.)

The bitrate that Slimserver shows is just an indicator of how
compressible the music was to your encoder.  If you have a 10 minute
track that is nothing more than a 200hz sine wave, it would probably
compress reasonable well... if you have something more complex, it
won't.

In short, don't worry about bitrate with lossless: it is just an
indicator how well the encoder works on a given piece.  The decoder
will always output what the origignal material was... or it isn't
lossless.
