I feel somewhat the same about tact.

Something along the lines I mentioned above would be more likely for
me, ie, sb3->deq->dac w/wordclock out->probably some kind of ucd based
amp.

I'm hoping that the speakers are salvageable for me, but we'll have to
see. I have seen people mention sibilance problems with the sb3. Was
this a canard, or does it seem to be a real problem?
