No, both DVD-Audio and SACD are discrete digital formats, they're just very different formats! One uses a linear sampled voltage technique (DVD-Audio) while the other uses a Pulse code width modulation technique (SACD). It is possible to convert back and forth, with the right hardware/software. All those "single bit" DAC CD players use a variant on SACD's DSD format....
