I've had limited experience with these specific components, but have more experience with other components from both companies. Both offer high quality stuff, but if I were to choose between the two, I'd go with the Arcam. IMHO, the B&K stuff is more "muscular", with less finesse and can be somewhat bright. Arcam IMHO sounds much more fluid and musical.
